All are welcome to attend the All-Church Lenten Study that begins this Sunday at 11:45 in the Sanctuary. Pastor Mandy will lead the provocative study, Listening for God: Contemporary Literature and the Life of Faith, Volume 1 by Paula Carlson and Peter Hawkins. A compilation of current American short stories, the book offers a study to help readers investigate current secular literature to discover how life and faith merge in surprising ways and places.
This Sunday’s study is Flannery O’Connor‘s Revelation:
Listening for God in time of temptation. In addition to the class led by Pastor Mandy, there are two other options to participate. Tori Nevens is leading the study for Theology on Tap every other Wednesday, starting March 8. The class continues on March 22, April 5 and April 19. Meeting time is between 6:30 p.m. and 830 p.m. at Stillwater, 24701 Del Prado Ave, Dana Point.
Also, Donna Feeney will lead a group at her and John’s home, 29445 Drydock Cove, Laguna Niguel on Tuesday evenings, starting at 7 p.m., on March 7.
