When you arrive, you will be greeted with the right hand of fellowship and a warm smile. You are God’s beloved and you are welcome here. As you enter the sanctuary, you’ll discover that there is an ocean view from every pew.  We are a diverse congregation of every size, shape and ability. We welcome all on their journey of faith regardless of age, physical condition, gender or sexual orientation, and support each other in our ministries to one another, the community and the world.  We worship through prayer, scripture, sermon, sacrament and music. Music is integral to our service: ranging from our children’s hand bell choir to our chancel choir, hand bell choir, our own talented musicians and guest artists.  We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month.  After each Sunday service, coffee and other refreshments are offered on the patio or Healton Hall. This provides a time of fellowship for everyone.  Wherever you are in your walk of faith, we are honored by your presence among us and we welcome you as we seek to live out the promise of our purpose statement: With Christ as our inspiration, worshiping together as one loving inclusive body, we will bring God’s love to life through prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.

The audio recording for the most recent Sunday sermons and sermon archives can be found here.

Our church has been ministering in this location for more than 60 years. Even the name of the street, Wesley Drive, is part of our history. Early members helped pay to have the dirt road paved up the hill to our doors and the city allowed us to name the street after the founder of the United Methodist Church, John Wesley.

Nursery care for children 4 years old and younger is available beginning at 9:00 AM each Sunday. Any usher at the entrance to the sanctuary will direct you to the Nursery, located in the lower level of the church building.

Children are welcome to be part of the worship services. There is a Children’s Time early in the service, after which children through 5th grade may leave the sanctuary to attend Worship Readiness Class, except on Communion Sundays, when they remain in worship.

Enhanced Listening Device Headsets are available for hearing assistance. An usher will be happy to assist in obtaining a device for use during the service.

There are NO STEPS from our front parking lot into the sanctuary. Parking is free in both the upper and lower parking lots as well as on Wesley Drive and intersecting residential streets.
