Megan Waters is the Director of Music at Laguna Beach United Methodist Church and oversees all musical activities at LBUMC. She studied Vocal Music Education at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, which has provided her with a solid foundation for teaching and performing. Megan teaches voice and piano to students of all ages, sharing her passion for music and helping others develop their talents. Megan is an active member of the Orange County Women's Chorus, contributing her vocal skills to the ensemble. She is also a hobby composer and arranger, enjoying the creative process of writing and adapting music in her spare time.

Megan's professional life extends beyond music. As a freelance digital solutions consultant, she builds websites and manages social media presences for her clients, helping them establish and enhance their online presence. This work allows her to combine her technical skills with her creative eye.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Megan finds joy and balance in various hobbies. She enjoys practicing yoga, exploring California's beautiful hiking trails, and capturing God's miraculous creation through photography. ​Megan lives in Orange with her husband, Alec, and their "tiny zoo" of cats and rabbits.
